Marjan Simčič Wines (Goriška Brda / Slovenia & Collio / Italy)
A family estate, active since 1860, now in its fifth generation under Marjan Simčič. The domaine owns vineyards both in Slovenia’s Brda and across the border in Italy (Collio), including old vines. Their winemaking emphasises terroir: they have special Cru and Opoka lines, organic farming, attention to soil types (Opoka = marl/chalky soils), and production across several lines from everyday “Classic” wines to more expressive, longer aged or passito wines.
